My Yarn Products

I call myself an avid crocheter because its something that I do whether I am in the car or watching a movie. Big projects like blankets take time and are repetitive so they are great for times when I want something to do that doesn't always involve paying lots of attention to the pattern (like watching TV), while small projects like amigurumi are the opposite but just as enjoyable.

The yarns I use naturally vary with each product but I always try to choose a good quality yarn. Over the years I've worked with many different yarn brands, and since I'm a stickler for good quality you can trust my products to be well made.

The cream is done in a worsted weight that is soft and cozy, and can be machine washed and dried, while the white is made with a mercerized cotton, bearing a glossy finish, and must be handwashed and laid flat to dry to better preserve it.

Baby blankets are a favorite of mine to make. I started by making one for my cousin who was expecting and I have been making them ever since. Its nice to know that the blankets I have so much fun making will be enjoyed by the parents and children.

For better convenience, each blanket is machine washable and dryable. A necessary commodity, in my opinion, when making things for babies and young children.

Hats are a must with every outfit but they are not only a fashion accessory, they are practical. When the cold weather starts in, a warm hat makes all the difference.

Afghans are made a piece at a time and then joined to make a whole. The Autumn Squares afghan is a delightful arrangement of four autumn inspired colors in correlating curves and surrounded by a wide two color contrasting border. Its thickness makes for a warm and cozy blanket perfect for cold nights.

With a flair for the elegant, fingerless gloves make the outfit. Choose between casual or formal but know that whichever you choose they will suit almost every persons style.

Amigurumi's are wonderful handmade toys for children, and adults as well. The word itself is Japanese for crocheted or knitted stuffed toys. The possibilities with amigurumi's are endless and fun. Starting with basic shapes, you can make anything you want.

Confetti and the Panda Sisters were made with little children in mind. Sturdy and colorful, each one bearing my signature mark.
