Welcome to my site. Since Jesus has blessed me with a love for writing, among other things, I want to honor Him by using that blessing. I've been a writer for as long as I can remember. My writing consists of a wide variety of genre; my fiction writing ranges from the historical to the modern, while my non-fiction writing is even more versatile. My areas of interest where writing is concerned are in history, arts and crafts, cooking, biology, cultural differences, archeology, etc. I must add, though, that a favorite of mine is maritime history, on which I have spent a lot of study, but my interest in history doesn't stop there.

As a freelance writer, my desire is to write for trade magazines or other similar areas. But I also write stories. My short stories I would categorize as snapshot moments in history. For an example go to my On Writing page.

On the side, I'm a sculptor and have been for many years now. Using polymer clay, I make slightly cartoonish characters and realistic figurines, plus pens, flowers, and anything else I wish to try. I once made a small scale model of the Mach 5, the car from the cartoon and motion picture Speed Racer, but sadly I neglected to take a reference photo.

I'm also an avid crocheter. Baby blankets are my specialty but I try my hand at anything that catches my eye.​
