My Clay Products

Great in style and color, these pens are easy on the hands and nice to keep around. Plus, each pen is made with a Bic pen body and can be refilled.

Each sculpture will vary in what brand of clay it is made out of but every sculpture is made with polymer clay. Polymer clay is in fact not really clay at all but a sculptable material made from polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and liquid plasticizer. It is called clay because of its similar texture to the mineral clay even though it does not contain clay minerals.

Besides the projects pictured below, I've made many other things. One is a model of the Mach 5, the car from the cartoon and motion picture Speed Racer, complete with the Mach 5 emblem. Then there's my own version of The Stairs of Cirith Ungol, and the Ringwraith's helmet, both from The Lord of the Rings. On the last I was experimenting with an air-drying clay. Added to my Lord of the Rings collection I made two versions of the elven leaf pin, one of regular polymer clay and the other of Sculpey Ultra Light, a lightweight clay. Those are just a few of my accomplishments with clay. But in the future I plan to delve deeper into the world of realism.

Pens

Roses

After seeing a flower made out of clay some years ago at a hobby store, I was enthralled and set out to make my own. I have to say they are the most enjoyable things to sculpt. With the thought that each real rose God has made was made with its own uniqueness, all of my clay flowers are different. My Flower Bunches usually consist of three roses of different colors or hues displayed on a contrasting green base.

The Little Darlings

The Little Darlings are my line of non-realistic animals. Though I do make realistic figurines, The Little Darlings are a simple but cute way of depecting the lovable creatures that God has made. Custard the Snowman is just a cute exception.
